William Carr |

William Carr was born on March 15, 1755, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. He served in the American Revolution. He originally enlisted in North Carolina, but later served under Colonel Evan Shelby in Sullivan County. He married to Martha Harris on April 11, 1780. Joseph Carr (1781, married Mary Glover) and Martha died October 13, 1815. He married to Mary Goforth on February 25, 1816. He appeared on the 1835 pension list in Sullivan County.
